Are you mentally tired..?

Did the “lockdown” witnessed globally is mentally exhausting your patience?

Or the future prospects of Life is under the lens of questions to the Why’s and How’s towards the slope of lockdown..!

Isn’t it too much of the unbearable pressure we are surmounting on ourselves..? We because even I too ardently feel the same..!

Locked with Life embracing Lockdown..! Probably to an extent until I stranded myself to the solution of embracing it.

The embrace becomes panic driven if we continuously route to the thought process of the events witnessed around. For instance, if the TV is switched on — the buzz of only the statistics of Coronavirus cases increment is shown — the number of lives affected by it — the blame game theory — the rise of pathogenic cases — Threat of World Wars — Explosions etc to an extent where we struggle to even co-exist in our homely environment leaving it gas-chambered.

As if the biggest celebrity of the decade bagging Oscars is none other than “Coronavirus”..!

The word Corona itself is becoming over-whelming where our Life cycle is revolving around it. Our day starts with it and ends with it causing mental fatigue. Right from TV channels, to blog posts, to videos, to stories this pandemic is definitely ruling our health and mind to stressors.

It just takes a mental toll on our health system by being continually in tune to the scare, fear and negativity addressed. And this remains a very big shock to both our mind and body leaving us gasping for breath.

However, we cannot put a blind eye to the turmoil of Lives being lost but eventually we even can’t put our mental peace at the roads of unrest. This will perhaps encapsulate you with unhealthy conditions of survival.

You need to look after yourself in order to serve..!

Looking at the current scenario, there’s no stipulated time frame until when the clouds of storm will pass but we can try our best to nurture goodness even in the unforeseen. One day it definitely will get better..!

To nurture is to be mentally at good health — at good heart — at good vibes to lead your way amidst any of the Life’s crisis be it the recent pandemic of Coronavirus. So if you are ignoring your mental health frame then it’s time to buckle up to not let the steering wheel of Life overtake your peace.

To help everyone out there my ideas dropped to the pillars of how we all can care for ourselves to mutually care for each other.

Presented below are 3 pillars of The Health Guide amidst Lockdown which will help you acknowledge your mental health to be cared for.

I have made it a penchant of my Life and shared with few of my pals too. It may not be Life galvanizing but at least can color your lives with peace, affection and help you remain mentally strong during the wee hours.

PREPARE A ROUTINE

A routine not unlike a too disciplined one should be set up which you ultimately will end up dropping out of the corridor. Remember being too stringent and fixated about a perfect routine will lead to mental retardation, exhaustion, dullness eventually making room for boredom.

A routine which can be wisely followed and channelled with happiness can help you remain mentally good. As for example, if you like reading make sure which are the books you are going to complete within a given span — if you are preparing for upcoming exams prepare a detailed plan to the course of study — if you are left with certain undiscovered talents then you can engross yourself in learning new skills — if your dream of becoming a Chef somehow lost its way then you can try your hands of becoming one and their still remains abundant of creative lists to be carried and stemmed upon.

Depending upon your interests, you can master your routine to work out in your favor. The routine should not be like a water leakage from a pipe that becomes unruly to be followed. It should be set in accordance to your order, tastes and preferences so that you remain at good mental health.

You can help yourself by creating a “Productivity Lists” of tasks to be done one at a time.

Personally, I have created one and it works out well to let my day be productive at a good scale.

Remember that at the end of the day, the routine should not leave you tortured to make you run away.

Also a routine shouldn’t have to be a classical pattern of activities set — it needs to have colors and flexibility attached otherwise you tend to understand only a tradition to routine, it’s shadowed aspect cornering behind the central theme of understanding yourself. With the lockdown, you have no race against time hence set up a routine to help you realize who you are and how mentally strong you can be.

Spontaneity — flexibility within a routine will harness a better health ecosystem in Life.

So, set a Routine which can be followed — don’t let it be an extreme one to let it go..!

DON’T OVERBURDEN YOURSELF TO BE TOO PRODUCTIVE

None of us around this Globe saw this Lockdown coming or even had the slightest hint of Coronavirus surging or marking a silent entrance to address mankind.

The cyclic events definitely has left a void in our mind and our mental health leaving us in a state of shock and trauma. Most importantly how to adjust with the unbearable change brought about and how to deal with it remains a big elephant in the room.

But, having said that — we must also not forget that “This is Going To End”, “The Lockdown is Going to End”, “This is going to get better” and eventually we will witness a day very soon where Life will resume back to normalcy. Keeping about this day in mind,, never let yourself be broken during these tumultuous times or let yourself confine to two ends of the spectrum — Of being extremely Over-productive or Being extremely lazy and doing nothing at all.

Too much of the overloaded work or too much of lethargy — both the conditions will have rampant effects on your body and mind. And when the Lockdown gets lifted up then this attitude will even make it a more difficult exercise to snap back to the normal existence of Life.

Hence, a well — balanced approach in efficiently utilizing your time will help you remain at the spectrum of being healthy.

Hence, please don’t pressure yourself to be over productive, or force yourself to be pro at mastering all skills rather keep in mind to not be lazy at any cost. Because Laziness will cause you more enemies to your mental well-being than any eventualities can.

MENTAL HEALTH AS A COMMUNITY

Now is the time, we as a community of “Mankind” should stand strong for each other — be there for each other — stand United in efforts to make this a better world to stay. This community building of health can only be garnered with fragrance if we individually start taking the leap of growth for our well being to a sound and stable mental health.

For example, amidst the lockdown one can shower the strength and care to the people around them by building faith and hope, or one can share with the groceries with the ones who is left with none, or you can help out the staffs who is taking care of your safety and the residential complexes by being supportive or any other service which can be rendered within your capacity limits.

Our highest priority right now is “Survival”..!

Let’s not turn down the leaf to this aspect and help each other sail through this crisis. Everything else can be looked upon later..!

Building a sense of mutual cooperation to each one around us will create a sigh of relief and will help in cultivating better aspects of Human Survival.

“Take Care Of Yourself To Take Care Of Others”

In the words of Mark Twain, “Out of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most”.

Hence, mental health not only during lockdown but in any phase of Life should not be misunderstood and well looked and graced upon. It makes you human — helps you in understanding your feelings better — lets you know that you are not alone — and there are people that love you and want to help.

Look at the brighter sides to Life amidst Lockdown —

To Adapting, To Happiness , To Affection, To Healing, To Creating, To Nurturing.

Take Care.
