Use The Law of Uniqueness to Find Contentment

Rather than conforming to society, reach your full potential, and be your authentic self.

We are individually unique beings. Culturally diverse — in gender, age, race, culture, region, country.

However, are these the only governing aspects symbolizing uniqueness? These remain visible questions. One which confronts us on a day-to-day basis.

That said, the underlying aspects of individual uniqueness are vast. This is where the hidden potentials of life reside. The one which needs to be unleashed and identified, and then followed upon.

Hence, identifying the hidden strings (potentials) is like — discovering self towards the path of uniqueness.

Initial Stage —

At the initial stages of life, our proximity towards identifying the hidden potentials is strong. They denote our unidentified creative aspect. During our childhood phase, for example, we experiment with different paths and learn to be creative. Some of us like playing guitar, singing, painting, drawing art forms, etc. At such a period these voices remain strongly built.

But as time passes by these voices shifts. Slow and steadily it gets lost.

Later Stage —

The phase of adolescence where we propel towards opting for safer career aspects. Despite the unique potential being present, other dominant factors of society and pressures pile up. At this period, individuals fumble. Risk-taking abilities narrow down. Our inner potentials freeze competing with the external standard aspects guiding life.

Hence, listening to the inner potential voice of uniqueness at our grown-up stages separates further. Over time, we often become so absorbed in social expectations that we lose sight of what it means to be creative.

Uniqueness Terminology

In simple terms, to be unique is to find the creative version of yourself. The one who remains as — similarly different. Irreplaceable.

To build this creative version, the individual quest for his sole purpose needs to be identified. Also, the uncertainty which the creative potentials carry needs to be trusted upon for it impels the man to unfold his hidden creative powers in its unique ways.

However, the journey to identifying such creative versions remain not easy.

Hurdles, crossroads, and conflicts — both internal and external, act as noises to dismantle our choices. Thereby, creating a sea of confusing paths. The selected creative choices hence remain in doubt.

Most importantly, our inner voice which remains as the primary source of connection to identifying creativity also senses like a lost touch.

That said, listening to what our inner voice is conversing is where the secret of identifying our uniqueness lives.

NOTE: The key context here is in not letting the noises — of self as well as others hold your creativity back.

The above statement can be perfectly summed up by Steve Jobs:

“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.”

The questions we need to ask ourselves are:

• Why do these inner voices have an impact on our identity creation?
• How is this interconnection to uniqueness justified?

To state, the beauty of our inner voice exists because it creates an inner dialogue.

Scientifically, it can be called as inner speech.

Hence, this internal dialogue acts as the route which opens the door toward creativity. Finally, in creating a better version of yourself via identifying your own potential skill sets.

Emergence Of Uniqueness

In a population of billions, the human race resembles a shared aspect of humanity.

The difference — genetic printing of each specie being biologically diverse.

Turning the pages of history, the greatest masters of that century felt the “law of uniqueness” to the core.

Their confessions sum up as — There are certain hidden forces, the wheel of destiny, and an in-depth voice from within which helped them set their path to find their uniqueness.

For Napoleon Bonaparte, it was his synchronous resonance towards star which gave him ascendance towards finding the uniqueness.

In modern times, Albert Einstein concluded his speculative theories based on his inner voice.

For Socrates, it was his demonic fears from within, the talks with God which guided him towards things that need to be avoided.

To the Polymath Leonardo da Vinci, it was his art form that lead him towards creating impressive creations.

This paved their walk of uniqueness. Finally, in seeking contentment.

Contrary to the scientific laws which work on the principles of facts, proofs, and logic, uniqueness has its saying.

For that’s what it voices out — I am Unique.

In general, one has to scale each step at a time to further climb the ladder of creative success and then find their unique being.

• But is uniqueness an easy trait to adopt?
• Is it so desirable?
• If finding the unique self was like a straight line, then it would defy to its existence of being called — unique.

Finding The Hidden Potentials

The hidden talents remain unidentified until discovered.

Many-a-time, it gets layered by external segments of life — like fear, negativity, boredom, and a lack of trust towards counting on our inner skills.

One can name these aspects as — demons of life. These demonic traits seek similarity in creating “everything going wrong” phase of life whereby our creative visions get distorted.

The phase where everything collapses covers an umbrella of subjects in an individual’s life —

• Career and Relationships
• Abandonment and Identity loss
• The negative past events and the worrisome future, and
• Fearful self

The above subjects act as blocks of shade creating blind path.

Through such a phase of discords, these demonic voices finally turn like serendipity amidst the wee hours.

To state, these negative voice morphs into an optimistic version of itself to ultimately reflect — guidance. Similar to what, Socrates experienced.

Ahead, in the human cycle chain, there tend to be occasions where life feels tested, coaxed, bruised, deeply hurt, avoided, neglected, tortured yet their remain certain traits that make individuals not give up and stand tall in such darkness.

Reason — It’s the inner-voice that does the positive self-talking.

The potential talented skillsets which makes up for the crisis.

The vocational aspect of Life. The vocation refers to the creative callings.
Where most people falter to being unsure about its existence. As mentioned earlier, it needs to be trusted, believed, and then cultivated upon.

To regulate the cycle of mastery towards our creative callings, the stages of laws come into force.

Stage 1 — Identification Phase

At this stage, diverse sets of creative potentials vary among individuals uniquely set on their paths.

That said, in order to find a stronger potential among the creative chronologies, fate comes into foreplay in directing a person towards identifying their hidden talent.

The journey here gets its start to further acknowledge and harness creativity.

Although, such forces of feelings can be counted upon as being mysterious, delusional, beyond explanations, or as hallucinations. However, its effect can also be realized when seen as eminently real, practical, and explicable.

Practical Explanation

Primal inclinations — This is the point where individual life emerged. Our childhood runs. The age has its own unique sets of talents.

If the creative talent is identified, it can be cultivated, watered, and nurtured to its full potential.

However, there’s a clause attached —

• Whether or not it is the only hidden talent to be followed?
• Also, how can one derive clear conclusions in regard to it?

To answer — here comes the role of intuitive voices.

Stage 2 — Guidance Phase

This phase acts as the driving force to set an individual on their potential path which the conscious self is unable to identify.

It is these sets of driven forces that inculcate the development potentials of uniqueness.

Somewhere, they are mystical yet subconsciously it guides us in connecting with our larger purpose in Life.

Thereby, directing towards the journey of — who you are meant to be and the reason as to why.

Further, in moments when we engage in an activity corresponding to our deepest inclinations, we might experience the essence of this unique potential.

It speaks different volumes, to each specie in different forms. The commonality — it always leaves you inspired.

At such a juncture, things find their way of happening miraculously.

However, the only acclaim — the voice needs to be trusted upon.

The following states —

• Where the sense of doubt prevails, the chances of the voiceful force being weakened groom’s up.
• Also, with the existent doubts, meeting unique selves become difficult.

Hence, the potentials get detached.

Not only does your uniqueness suffers, but Life destined also gets misled. They get cornered.

Thus, the disliked career prospect of life may create a work balance that may not leave you content.

The solution — Consider working with the aspects of your potentials like writing, singing, painting, or any self-identified hobby, and then evaluate.

Trust me, the difference speaks.

Stage 3 — Courage Phase

To be courageous, one needs to trust the voices guiding from within.

You already got identified with your unique skills.

This phase of courage encourages you to take a leap of faith and trust your skills.

My Experience

Writing has been part of my life since the start.

All this while, journalling seemed an easy road to my writings. Reason — It was confined within my diary premises. With no judgments involved. But I never imagined making it my career.

Hence, in the later stages, it got sidelined because of my current preparation in competitive exams.

However, since the beginning of 2020, before taking the courage to a side hustle and make writing as one of my potential careers, storms of questions accompanied my thoughts —

• Will it work?
• Will people welcome me?
• Will my thoughts inspire others? or
• Will I end up failing?

These uncertainties resisted my inner calling.

Honestly, at times I feel, even now.

That said, there resided an inbuilt fear within me — To put my writings in front of the public eye is where the fear and vulnerability resided.

And to me, being vulnerable is the other name of courage.

Counterforces Blocking The Courage

The counter forces act as a barrier to increase the complexity of our hidden potentials.

Thereby creating an imbalance in thought patterns and decision-making skills.

Majorly they are external.

They can be anybody, any situation, any circumstances, where you start doubting your inner speech.

These forces drift your life according to their theories.

For Example — You select your career in arts for survival, but the outer forces will recommend science as the way. At a ground level, suppose one aspires to be a painter, but your family (counterforce) considers it as not a safer career to opt for. They guide you with the other secure options.

Similarly, in order to calm the demonic voices which created resistance and doubts in my path, I sought forward trusting the inner voice as the way leading to peace, contentment, and calming the counter forces of my Life.

How High is Your Inner Voice?

The real adventure resides in exploring the treasures of the inner voice.

It might be risky but that’s how you build up.

The stronger you feel and maintain it — as a voice, or hidden force, or whatever form of energy in whatever form, the greater your probability for fulfilling this Life’s task, purpose, and achieving mastery.

Henceforth, to find who you are for actual indeed needs deeper insights.

Some people never become who they are because —

• They spiral around self-doubts,
• They conform to the tastes of others,
• They inbuilt their environment with external validations

Hence, their real potential in self remains choked.

Reason — For if the identification of real unique self was an easy street then mastery of Life would just have remained a drama. But you see, Life is a game.

To play well, one needs to find their real sets of uniqueness — character, personality, traits, career.

Rest everything falls as an external reward.

Final Thoughts

In the modern-day world, relying on sources beyond our control rather comes at a greater risk.

For instance, seeking a job, competing for an exam, and the other unlikely events which bring in uncertainty creating a bleak future.

Here the chances of survival is risky.

Giving a try to building the skill sets, of your capability indeed is the need of the hour.

If not you, then nobody else will make your roadway to survival prosper — neither the institutions nor your family nor any friendship.

The only real voice of power — is within yourself. It’s your potential.

The ancient Greek poet Pindar wrote —

“Become who you are by learning who you are.”

The following states, if you allow yourself to learn who you are by paying attention to the callings or your feelings or voice of energy from within, then your journey remains purposeful.

And for this, the doubts in the mind needs to be cleared upon. Just as an individual, a master, and seeker of his visions in Life.

Greek Philosopher, Socrates rightly sums up his thought on the above as -

“To find yourself, think for yourself.”
